Kindergarten in Nizhny Baskunchak to open before the end of February

26.01.2022

An agreement on joint actions and the timing of the opening of a kindergarten in the Akhtubinsky district was reached between the governor of the Astrakhan region and the management of the Russalt company. Earlier, residents of the village of Nizhny Baskunchak recorded a video message to the head of the region demanding to pay attention to the delay in the opening of a kindergarten, and on January 25, regional Minister of Education Yegor Ugarov held a meeting with residents in the village. Recall Russalt, the largest salt producer in Russia, within the framework of the implementation of the social program, built, fully staffed and handed over on a turnkey basis a kindergarten of two buildings for 145 children. But the kindergarten has not yet begun accepting children; the issue of obtaining a license has not been resolved at the municipal level.

“From our side, all the agreements have been fulfilled – the kindergarten has been built, the documentation has been prepared and submitted to the municipality of the Akhtubinsky district. Difficulties with the opening arose in connection with the issue of further funding for the maintenance of a preschool in the village of Nizhny Baskunchak”

Sergey Cherny, Director of Russalt, commented on the situation.

“We held talks with the governor: the issue of financing and licensing should be resolved, the kindergarten is planned to be put into operation by the end of February.”
